C’est Pas Classique: 40 Free Concerts in Nice
Every November to December, the city of Nice, France, hosts a series of free musical concerts and entertainment called C’est pas Classique!
There will be four highlight programs that will focus on giving recognition to women. Particularly, the opening and the closing performances will showcase the recognition. Two great talents will resonate in the walls of the Acropolis: Edith Piaf (performance by Ann Carrere) and Maria Callas.
A modern rock opera with a mix of good humor will provide unlimited laughs throughout the show, and the Nice Philharmonic Orchestra will have extraordinary electronic standards performance.
There are more than 40 free concerts full of exceptionality and novelties to surprise thousands of expected visitors. Both the young and young-at-heart will truly enjoy this one-of-a-kind concert series.
2019 Highlights of C’est Pas Classique
Friday, November 29, Salle Apollon
Symphonic PIAF: A unique moment suspended in time to see life in pink. The Nice Philharmonic Orchestra will accompany Piaf’s fabulous musical heiress Ann Carrere in a breathtaking interpretation. The concert starts at 8:30pm.
Saturday, November 30, Salle Apollon
Ed Banger Symphony: A highlight that perfectly symbolizes the spirit “C’est pas Classique!.” It goes with a combination of genres: classical, modern, and electronic music. This is what truly makes the festival unique in every aspect. This concert revisits the past and honors the great electronic standards. The show starts at 9pm.
Saturday, November 30, Salle Athena
D. I. V. A.: A resolutely modern rock opera. This is a one joyful show overflowing with good humor families can share. Five divas, masters of the opera, dared the ambitious project and succeeded to revisit six great work of the repertoires in tables of ten minutes sequence. The opera starts at 9:15pm.

Callas in Concert: A show between the unreal and the virtual, strange as captivating that will leave no one indifferent. After two years of absence and for the first time in Nice, Maria Callas will perform on the big stage for an outstanding hologram recital. The show begins at 8pm.
