From 14 December onwards, there will be performances to set the mood on Saturday evenings. The line-up includes dreamy electro-jazz music from ‘Ride the Clouds’ between 6 pm and 9 pm, and the Rêverie vertical dance company’s poetic ‘Aile émoi’ show at 6 pm, 7 pm and 8 pm.

Hotel de Paris’ Tree Auction
Hotel de Paris’ annual Christmas tree auction is always fun to see. 37 trees decorated by commercial brands will be up for auction. From December 9 to 12, the lobby of the hotel will look like a forest sprinkled with little magic.
Christie’s will lead the tree auction, the yields of which will go to ‘Action Innocence Monaco’, to prevent online pedophilia. With the support, the association can continue to go to schools in Monaco and neighboring communities for interventions and counseling.

The Decorations At The Casino de Monte-Carlo
On December 6 at 6:00 pm, the Place du Casino will glow brightly! The Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer will have its yearly Christmas tradition of decorating the area with trees and lights. The theme for this year is “Good Luck.”
Expect to see colorful balloons, enchanting lights, and tall sparkling trees. Not to be missed is the wonderful light and sound show as the Casino is all dressed up for the season.
Monaco Christmas village and market
The most popular highlight of Christmas in Monaco and Monte Carlo is its Christmas village and market. Held each year in Port Hercule, this Christmas market has traditional mini-chalets selling the usual type of products and culinary specialties for the season.
The classic and perennial wooden chalet will line the famous Monaco and Monte Carlo Christmas Market, where you can find gift ideas and culinary specialties for the season. Stalls will also feature crafts and local products.
A Variety of Entertainment and Activities
There will be makeup or face painting and other creative workshops, which will be up every Wednesday. There are lots of games, a Ferris wheel, carousels, and a miniature train.

The Olympic-sized Rainier III nautical stadium will turn into an ice-skating rink with music. Kids will have a chance to meet Santa Claus and see his reindeer.

A sporty Christmas
Running around finishing your Christmas shopping may be considered quite athletic – especially if you train for it! So pull on your running shoes and take part in the U Giru de Natale, the race that’s synonymous with Christmas in Monaco.
This year will be its 25th year and will see over 2,000 runners make their way through the streets of Monaco on December 15. There are circuits designed for all ages, making it the perfect festive event to enjoy with family.
Cool off after your workout by taking to the water for the Monaco Christmas Swim on 21 December. Grab your Santa hat and meet at the beach outside Le Méridien Beach Plaza for this traditional sea swim.
Then, warm up afterward with breakfast and a raffle. By taking part, you’ll also be doing your bit for the ‘Happy Hands’ charity, who work for people with disabilities.

The “L’Etoile des Neiges” will return to the Blue Gin of the Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort from December 5 to January 6. The bar, here, will be redone to look like you’re in a real mountain chalet. To warm up during those cold winter evenings, head to the “Winter Party” every Thursday in December: all you need are good spirits and your best mountain attire.
For year-end festivities, a ‘polar Christmas’ is taking its place in the Hotel Metropole Monte-Carlo. On your arrival, you’ll see a shower of stars above the path leading to the hotel. Children and adults take their places in the igloo, drifting into a dream world or writing a letter to Santa Claus.
