Monte-Carlo Fashion Week

It is the 8th edition of Monte-Carlo Fashion Week (MCFW ©) this year. And it will feature the resort, cruise, and capsule collections Spring Summer 2021.

Monte-Carlo Fashion Week is the official fashion event of the Principality of Monaco. International buyers and fashion insiders attend this fashion fair.

The event includes the Monte-Carlo Fashion Awards, which recognizes emerging figures in the field. This fashion event runs simultaneously with the anniversary of the Chambre Monégasque de la Mode.

Federica Nardoni Spinetta founded the event in April 2013 with the aim of the event being to promote local fashion designers. The effort focuses on bringing Monaco creativity into the international spotlight. It also aims to project Monaco as a key player in fashion worldwide.

Monte-Carlo Fashion Week Awards Ceremony

Each year the Chamber Monegasque de la Mode host the much-awaited MCFW Fashion Awards Ceremony. The event recognizes the international and local talents for their valuable contributions to the global fashion industry.

Focusing on Sustainability in Fashion

Following the guidelines of HSH the Prince Albert II of Monaco, protecting the planet by raising awareness and following sustainable and ethical standards in fashion has been one of the main goals of MCFW.

At the event, the Chambre Monegasque de la Mode honors a distinguishable brand for its efforts in protecting the environment and playing an active role in ushering positive changes and supporting sustainability by creating eco-friendly garments.

Monte-Carlo Fashion Week’s Organizers

The Chambre Monegasque de la Mode (CMM), The Fashion Council of the Principality of Monaco was founded and presided by Federica Nardoni Spinetta.

The Fashion Council of the Principality of Monaco organizes it as one of the Principality’s major events (view the team). In addition, The Monégasque Government, the Town Hall of Monaco, and the Direction of Tourism and Congress support the event. It is also under the patronage of the Russian Honorary Consulate in Monaco and the executive partner Società Italia.

How to Get to the Monte-Carlo Fashion Week Venue

By Plane: Monaco is about 22 km from the Nice-Côte d’Azur airport. You’ll need an extra 40 minutes for the Uber/car ride. It is a 6-minute helicopter ride, which lands right at the venue.

By Train: The Monaco train station is 30 minutes walk from the Chapiteau of Monaco. It is about 15 minutes when riding the bus. Ride from Paris on TGV takes 6 hours. It takes 5 hours from Milan.

By Car: Take A8 motorway to reach Monaco. It is about 8 km. Take Monaco-La Turbie exit from France. The Roquebrune exit is the best way from Italy.
