French Riviera School Holidays

Expect the beaches to be much busier with plenty of children and teenagers crowding the beach and markets during these dates.

To alleviate holiday traffic and crowded resorts, education authorities are divided into three geographic zones, with staggered winter and spring holiday periods. The French Riviera is in Zone B. Here is the government’s official website listing the holiday dates. Expect increases in tourism during all of the school holidays.
